UK Business Development Lead — Labs & Clinics
You'll own the conversation with UK diagnostic labs and clinics — finding the ones that should be running FreshLIMS, getting them in the room, and walking them through their first call. Small team, real product, full control of how you run the function.
What you'll do
- Identify and prioritise diagnostic labs and clinics across the UK that fit FreshLIMS.
- Run outbound — calls, email, LinkedIn, in-person where it makes sense.
- Lead the first discovery call yourself and pull in technical/founder time when the deal warrants it.
- Walk lab quality managers through the validation pack and our UKAS / CQC posture.
- Help shape the proposition. What we say about ourselves, the case studies we build, the demos we run.
- Feed customer questions back into the product — you'll have a direct line to the people building it.
Who you are
- You've sold into UK healthcare, diagnostics, or B2B SaaS, and you've been the first commercial person on the ground at least once.
- You can hold a credible technical conversation — you don't need to write SQL, but you understand how a LIMS sits inside a lab's day.
- You're comfortable working without a playbook, and bringing one back when you've found what works.
- UK-based. Comfortable travelling for site visits.
